World Youth Movement for Democracy Essay Contest
March 29, 2007VOICE YOUR IDEAS - World Youth Movement for Democracy Launches Essay Contest The World Youth Movement for Democracy (WYMD), an international community of young people working non-violently to promote democratic institutions and practices, is pleased to announce an essay contest for young people to share their perspectives on democracy. Young activists, students, and citizens aged 14 to 30 are invited to write short essays (under 2500 words) reflecting on their experiences with the ideals, the realities, and the future of democracy in their communities and countries. This essay contest is part of WYMD's Global Youth Campaign for Democracy, which encourages young people around the world to be part of political processes in their respective communities and regions. Finalist essays will be included in an international publication, and two authors will be selected for a scholarship to the Fifth Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy, taking place in Kiev, Ukraine during April 2008. Organic Mushroom Products
March 28, 2007I was amazed when I visited the JENTRIX Enterprise (beside the benguet Provincial Capitol) they have developed many products out of mushroom. Aside from their mushroom wine and mushroom burger patties, they have have lumpia and embotido with mushroom. They also have mushroom coffee that help fight diabetes.

5th Mt Ugo Climb
One of the fun thing to do this summer is enjoy one of God's gift to us—Nature.
On April 13-15, 2007 is the 5th climb to Mt. Ugo. This is sponsored by the Barangay Tourism Council of Tinongdan, Itogon in cooperation with the Benguet Provincial Tourism Office.
Registration is on-going until April 9, 2007.
Do not forget to bring a registration fee of P900
when you finally plan to challenge yourself to face Mt. Ugo.
