A Glimpse of La Trinidad

La Trinidad holds the title as The Salad Bowl of the Philippines because of its huge production of upland vegetables and other agricultural products like strawberry and flowers.

            Recalling its physical appearance decades ago, La Trinidad was a place where there were not much establishments. No McDonalds, no Jollibee, no Tiong San, and other huge establishments.

            But as the sun rise everyday, more and more buildings and establishments also have risen along with it. The farms which used to be gardens were now planted with huge buildings. The mountains that seemed to have no chances of building houses were now overcrowded. The wide valley that used to be a farm is now being replaced with residential areas.

            And if we are to look forward in the future, maybe after another decade or more, there we may imagine how La Trinidad would look like… A crowded town with no more strawberry farm…
